Cutting work requirements
Step 2

Original LÖWE anvil pruners come in different models for different requirements.

THE ORIGINAL pruners were the first anvil pruners and the origin of the entire product line.

The VARIO model has adjustable handle width to extend the service life of the blade and anvil.

The models FAST CUT, EASY CUT, POWER CUT and CLEAN CUT each offer specific advantages for working quickly and cutting easily, powerfully and cleanly.

Our detailed explanations can help you in the following step.

The Original

The Original LÖWE 1 is the first anvil pruner that Walther Schröder presented to the world in 1923. It marked the starting point and is the basic model that evolved into many other Original LÖWE GardenPRO and INDUSTRIAL models.

Vario

Classic anvil pruner with continuously adjustable handle width to match your hand size. The service life of the blade and anvil is significantly extended as the adjustable handle width compensates for wear.

Fast Cut

Anvil pruners with a straight blade for fast work. The material is cut at precisely the right point thanks to the straight blade. This fast and accurate cut makes pruning tasks very efficient.

Easy Cut

Anvil pruners with a short and slender blade cut very easily as the material is grasped close to the hinge for optimum force transmission. In addition, a slender blade is less likely to split the branch. This reduces the effort of cutting still further.

Power Cut

Hybrid pruners are anvil pruners with bypass geometry. They combine the best of both worlds. The curved shape of the blade and base plate means that even material with a large diameter lies close to the hinge and does not slip forward when cut. This optimised power transmission enables even thick hardwood branches to be cut with ease.

Clean Cut

Bypass pruners only grasp the material on one side, so it is held by the counter blade while the main blade performs the cut. This means that the branch is also only squeezed on one side, while the cut side of the branch is left unharmed. These pruners can cut precisely flush with budding points and make clean cuts at the base of branches thanks to their geometry. Bypass pruners are perfect for use on fibrous and sensitive woody plants.
